One of those Canadian LPs that never quite caught on south of the border. Folky pop (or poppy folk?) with a light sprinkling of psychedelia, I was surprised that this was as late as 1969 and not a couple years earlier. As PsychedelicGuy mentioned below, "Life and Love" is a nice baroque-popper. Other highlights include "To Love Means To Be Free" and... to me the album's hidden gem... "If Ever."

It's not a lost masterpiece or anything so superlative, but I enjoyed the hell out of it and come back to it rather regularly. A springtime album. It looks like copies of this are still to be had on the cheap... I got mine out of a dollar bin a couple years ago. If you see it in the wild for $10 or less, you might as well.

Life And Love is one of the most soaring baroque pop tracks ever recorded. An absolute stunner that sounds like a track left off of the Richard Twice album. Sadly the rest doesn't match up to this high, but the affordable price makes it worth owning for this song alone.
