Brian Blade

American jazz drummer, composer, singer/songwriter and session musician, born July 25, 1970 in Shreveport, Louisiana. he began playing the violin. Inspired by his older brother, Brady Blade, Jr., He shifted his focus to the drums. Blade studied and played with most of the master musicians living in New Orleans. Brian has performed with the likes of Christian McBride.
