Grant Nelson

Prolific producer, remixer and DJ from London, born 27 April 1971.
Produced under the name Kickin Records.
Heralded as an influential producer on what became the UK garage scene due to his numerous releases on Nice 'N' Ripe, a label he co-founded in 1993.
In 1997 he started using the alter-ego Bump & Flex to release 2-step garage.
Nelson has remained a house/garage producer since his early Nice 'N' Ripe days and continues to do so with his Freeze Dried (2012-) labels.
Partner of Kate Ross.
Cousin of David Thackeray.
