Bollywood film composer, born 27 June 1939 in Calcutta, then British India, died 4 January 1994 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Only child of music director S. D. Burman.
Active from the 1960s to the 1990s Burman composed music for over 330 films. Together with Lata Mangeshkar
