American house music singer/songwriter, producer, and artist.

Born: 25 May 1949 in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
Died: 24 November 2016 in New York City, New York, USA (aged 67).

Raised in New York, Abrams was one of the first artists to bring house music into the mainstream notably with the Colonel Records in 1996.

In 2019, The New York Times Magazine listed Colonel Abrams among hundreds of artists whose material was reportedly destroyed in Universal Music Group's 2008 back catalog fire.
