Budweiser Showdown

Profile:

An American music contest where contestants competed for cash prizes and record deals. It was orchestrated nationally, first by Showdown Records and later by Starstream Record Co., in conjunction with corporate sponsors, hence 'Budweiser', and local radio stations throughout the US and mainly organized from 1983 to 1989.

    I second that comment from REENO. Insanely hard to find and expensive records.
    Every once in a while some of these show up on ebay and the bids shoot to the moon.
