Those Laura Brainigan CDs sound amazing! Wish they would have gotten a chance to release Grace Jones' two late 80s albums before they closed up shop.

Out or 23 titles I ordered from them, Only 4 were not shipped. I guess I should consider myself lucky. I never heard from Greg again. I emailed several times after that but no response.

Did Gold Legion paid copyrights for those releases or those CDs are all bootleged like many in Discogs website? That's the only thing which is important to me, I wouldn't like to buy CDs of the artists I ire and they don't be paid for that.

Ordered CDs from them that were never released & was never refunded. I only buy their product from a vender other than them.

Although there is this talk of a scam, it proves that there ARE still master-tapes out there, somewhere, which can be used and sound excellent. Something other labels, such as Repertoire Records should take into , before opting for the cheap way of using a vinyl LP to master a new release. I wonder what else is hidden out there?

FYI...I think that Greg, the owner and, apparently, sole employee of Gold Legion was ill. I'm thinking he may have ed away. I, too, have a couple of orders that were never fulfilled (totaling about $75). At one point, he emailed me and apologized, stating he had been in the hospital for several weeks and had been unable to send the orders out. Unfortunately, I never heard back from him again: my orders never shipped and I never received refunds. As sad as this is, I'd like to think that that is what happened, as opposed to him being untrustworthy and ripping us off.

Add me to this long list of buyers ripped off by Fools Gold Legion. I ordered 4 cds and never received a thing. I know they were based in Miami and I believe they were previously known as Get Disconnected..There is a seller on here with cds for sale from both companies. I also noticed sellers on ebay and Amazon with cds from both. I believe Greg is a fake name. $70 down the drain for me but aint karma a bitch! When you get a bad reputation...it sticks. No surprise they're finished.

Amazed by this growing list of people ripped off by Gold Legion. I even tried reporting them to the better business bureau in Florida with no luck. From the looks of the website, it caught up with them! They scammed me out of a big $14.00. Lesson learned - shop Amazon.

Oh I was not the only one who was ripped off by Gold Legion, where is the Cheryl Ladd release that I paid for and a few others that never got released.
Shame on you Gold Legion, why can't companies be honest.
