It owned and published over 100 magazine brands, including its namesake Time, Fortune, People, Life, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle and Sports Illustrated. In 1990, Time Inc. merged with Meredith Corporation announced that it would acquire Time Inc. for $2.8 billion. The acquisition was completed on January 31, 2018. |
