Surprise Attack Records

Label founded by Human Animal. Often being referred to as SA Mob, Surprise Attack Records played an important role in the Erie PA "Lake Effect" hardcore scene, putting out classic releases by the likes of xDisciplex, Shockwave, and of course Brother's Keeper. The label also branched out and released many international bands in an era when many labels wouldn't take that chance such as Rise & Fall (Belgium), Loyal to the Grave (Japan), Shotpointblank (Australia) and many more. The label isn't as active as it was in the late 90s and the 2000s but still sporadically puts out music from time to time mostly focusing on regional Erie, PA music.
