I'm thinking there must have been more than 1000 pressed if 1777 have a copy now, lol. More like 10,000

After reading all these positive comments, I can't say that I'm totally convinced after listening. The mixes are definitely not better than the album versions. The bass is too prominent and doesn't resonate on the nice frequencies. Besides that, the playing is kind of sloppy, especially the drums. Compare Gethsemane on Advaitic Songs and you'll here super clear, tight, and dynamic drums, not so much on this release.
The packaging is nice enough. I actually love the double 10" format, and the pictures and labels are nicely printed and designed, but especially the 2nd record could've benefited from a 45rpm pressing. It could've even fitted - dare I say - on a 7". Kind of disappointing to see half of the wax consisting of run-out grooves. I heard a few loud pops, but that could've been some dirt from the factory or maybe I just have a bad copy.
All in all pretty okay, but I rather listen to the album versions. -
Top quality pressing, and it's been praised enough for the mastering, Bass is thundering and drums are crisp as bacon, new old fans will definitely like these tracks, and after listening to both Studio Versions and this, i prefer the sound of this Recording.
Rich, detailed punchy, great buy! -
Edited 3 years agoHoly shit this sounds SO good, the photo shoot for this is so cool too. Based on this recording they must be great live, would kill to seem them someday. Also, this wouldve fit fine on a 12in no? 1 song per side works out fine for the first two songs because theyre a bit long, but its absurdly inconvinient for the last two songs.

Great package. love the photos of the studio session, it sounds great, everything comes through in the mix. I don't buy a lot of 10" records, so it's nice to add something else to the mix.

I love it. I'm ok with the double 10" as it focuses on each of the 4 songs perfectly - 1 song per side. But then again, I am a bit biased :) .

Seriously!!!... ten years after God is Good and seven after Advaitic Songs(both are great albums by the way).... what is the point of this mini album?.... no new material after all this years?... plus, the 2*10"... really?.... not for me, sorry

I am very impressed with this live recording. The mastering is great, the pressing is clean and quiet, the packaging is also beautiful. The only minor con is the format. This could easily fit a single 12"LP and there's no reason that it's need to be on 2x10" LP.
