Over 30 years later this CD is still the best way to hear this album. -
Beautiful record. Outstanding copy. Heard details in guitars and organs I have not heard before. Warm yet detailed. Highly recommend picking this up.

Edited one year agoWhy is the 7” included in this listing? A bonus item not packaged with the primary item should be listed separate, no? Sometimes Rhino will toss in a mug or t-shirt as an incentive and those are not considered part of the release. Thoughts? I have a version with this barcode but on black vinyl. Sounds fine - no surface noise. Not sure if this is a newer version since 2020. -
Bought one with a colored vinyl sticker and the barcode lined up with the colored vinyl pressing. Opened it up and it was black vinyl, anyone know anything about this? -
Picked this up today from my local store, expecting it to be black vinyl (as there was no sticker on the shrink to indicate blue) ; but to my pleasant surprise it is beautiful transparent blue. Sounds great to my ears ; with the odd click / tick here or there , which was not enough to distract me from the amazing music.
Nice cover art with printed inner sleeve.

I I got this when it first launched some years ago, but my first copy sounded very bad, with some strange sound defects during the acoustic songs. I ed Omnivore and they promptly sent a new copy, which sounds great.
Why not 5 stars out of 5? Because of the fact that “You and Your Sister” is now the last track of the B Side instead of being in the A side. It kind of ruins the vibe for me. I know, it’s a pet peeve… -
After seeing how much trouble some people have had with this album, I was very nervous to put this on, on colored vinyl no less! Sounds fantastic on my system, maybe a smidge trebly compared to my digital copy, but great, clear sound. So happy my fears were unfounded in this instance. Some surface marks from the manufacturer/sleeve as others have noted, but no audible issues from those. -
got my copy last week.... it is NOT in blue translulent vinyl. It is in regular black. Sound quality is fine.
