This is my introduction to The Ex. I certainly hear a similarity to Gang of Four, but driven more tense and less funky. The LP sounds really good. Clean and great dynamics. My copy has a slight warp, but my system is set up to handle that. I think I’m a fan and it seems to me that SV got it right with this one. Bravo, indeed.

Another beautiful reissue by Superior Viaduct! Gorgeous reprinting on high quality boards; with the addition of the lyric book and poster reprint! So happy to be playing this one loud!

Thank you Superior Viaduct for re-issuing these two The Ex recordings so lovingly! The vinyl sounds excellent; sharp and crisp - (though, let's face it, the original recordings were not super hi-fidelity to begin with). The real treasure is just to have these on high quality vinyl with the attention to details in the original lyric book and poster on newsprint. Having listened to this and "Disturbing Domestic Peace" on CD for years, these re-issues will be my go to format for these classics. All I can hope for is that SV continues to re-issue The Ex back catalog. Tumult, Pokkeherrie and Blueprints for a Blackout in particular. BRAVO! Please continue!
