This is a very quietly mastered pressing so the volume really needs to be cranked up. But the blood splash on the black is magnificent, the music is fantastic for fans of Danzig like myself and the pressing quality is top notch. Glad to have this one! -
Edited 2 years agoCleopatra Records did it again! The new Cheap As Hell Edition! They manage to find the worst preessing plants so their vinyl sounds mudded and low, the quality of the image is below acceptable, faded and blurry, a total waste of money, i don’t get why Danzig and Ministry are releasing a lot of their discography through this despicable label but i will not buy again another, the only label i know that is almost as bad is Ipecac with their eternal pressing errors, skips, loops, omissions, repeated tracks, incomplete editions etc. etc. They should just stop if they can’t do it right, what a shame!

Cleopatra has done great work with these recent reissues, quality product, digital sourced or not they sound great as well. -
Edited 4 months agoNot all picture discs sound bad, but this one leaves quite a bit to wish for. Listenable, by all means, but pretty far from an audiophile pressing. Still, this is the first pressing so as a collector it's a must have, but as a music fan you better go with the recent reissue. -

My coke-bottle green sounds good and without problems. Maybe a lil bit of punch couldve been added , but I think its from digital and not remastered. -

hello, i own a cd copy of this album that looks like no copies on here, the cover has to be under direct light to show up other than the "danzig" and the "6:66" it appears almost drawn over, no writing on the sides of the jewel case either, just a black cover. also contains a unique barcode

Danzig in full on Groove metal mode. It’s a heavy, twisted mix of music closer to Rob/White Zombie than Danzig’s early bluesy doom.
The new pressing sounds clean and sharp, if a little weak in the bass department. It’s an underrated album in Danzig’s catalog.
