This is too good to be limited to only 3,000. Truly a but now or cry later album! -

Possibly the best pressing of Amigos including the excellent Speakers Corner and MOV reissues. The SC has a super smooth and totally non-fatiguing sound at the expense of treble extension and the bass is a tiny tiny bit shy. I would say if your system is too bright then the SC is a fine choice (but also get a new system lol!). The purple MOV press is punchier in the bass but not as smooth as the SC, yet it is surprisingly analogue sounding and the bass depth and punch is glorious. The MoFi also has very good bass and separates the two, but truly great mids and open-ness/expanse with plenty of clarity. Nitpicking a little, maybe the treble could have been done silkier and that would make it perfect but im using two AT LP5X with basic VM95E carts just to quickly A/B and compare pressings and so many (inc myself) will have setups that offer better treble refinement than the VM95E can muster which will render the MoFi near flawless.
Packaging wise the MoFi wins. The SC and MOV are perfectly fine but the MoFi has that sturdy tip on with the best art repro of the three to boot, so its objectively better.
Three very good to excellent choices. The vinyl revival is very much alive and well! -

Another dose of Santana goodness from MFSL. I just recently purchased “Welcome” and “Borboletta” on Speakers Corner and not because these pressings sound bad but I’m wondering if Mobile Fidelity has any plans on doing these two as well?
Amigos on 33RPM is super quiet without any unwanted pops or clicks after a good wash and a new anti static inner sleeve. The cover art and inner gatefold art really looks fantastic on this offering from MFSL and if owning all of these Santana reissues is within your budget you shouldn’t hesitate purchasing them as you won’t be disappointed.
Cheers. -

I really can’t believe how good this one turned out! Very dynamic, with lots of bass. Sounds AAA even though it’s not. Highly recommended! -

Indeed very well pressed. High definition sound. Instruments very clear with air around them, Bass very well defined. High quality vinyl. Amazing job really.
For a reasonable price still! Great job music on vinyl! -

Zero noise to my ears and excellent mastering.. percussion really pops as does Carlos on guitar. -

The Tom Coster years were the Santana Band's glory days IMHO -
I read some of the other reviews of this album, and for the most part I agree with them. I saw Santana when they were touring behind this album, in front of 75,000 fans at Mile High Stadium in 1976, and this album absolutely BURNS, live! Europa was the highlight of a most memorable show, with Carlos holding the sustained note for nearly 3 minutes with everyone in the band rose to the occasion, and drove the crowd into a frenzy. I can still that moment like it was the day I saw it.I wold recommend this one to someone that thinks that Supernatural is something special, to show what Santana is really about.
