once again, when all seemed lost, I've found progressive house which breathes new life and rhythm into me

Amorak was played by Lucien Foort on his 2001 essential mix. It stood out for me intially because of the unusual vocal. Listening to it now, I appreciate its great drive and superb musicality. Mac Zimms was a highly talented producer and on top of his game here.

Amorak is a great progressive trance track, but - True Confession is also a great tune, what a great melody

Amorak is a chunky minimal progressive house / trance track initially which builds with same note stabs and short vocal snippets. Long breakdown takes it from progressive house to prog trance. Once it kicks back in it's built into a much more melodic and multi-layered track than the first few minutes would have you believe. A creeper for sure, which pays off eventually.
