This sounds a ok, like others have mentioned this is pretty treble heavy and turning up the bass helps round out the songs, but all in all, quality boot as far as I am concerned. Happy to have it in my collection. It appears that T&G is reissuing the early singles and this LP soon, remastered by Bob Weston nonetheless, at least according to their Instagram page, but in the meantime, this will suffice

If anybody has the poster that they would like to sell let me know -
Edited one year agoThe artwork is close enough to the original but just different enough to not get it confused for an original (mostly removing any references to Touch & Go). Did anyone else get a sticker for the Punk band Koro in there copy?

Edited one year agoNot too shabby, the best Conquest boot I’ve heard thus far. The bass is quite low, but not a problem when you have a equalizer. Just turn the bass up. I actually have a old 80’s Realistic receiver I use. So yea I’m pleased with this release.

Compared to my OG copy this "Unofficial Release" looks amazing. Same glossy cover as the OG copy and good color match as well. But, upon listening, the volume level is noticeably quieter, mainly due to the lack of bass. Where the OG copy's grooves take up 3/4 of each side before the runout, this release only takes up 1/2 of the wax leaving the other half as runout dead wax. IMO this would make a great addition to any collection that doesn't have a copy or for the collector that doesn't have the funds to buy an OG copy. At least it will hold you over until it's properly reissued (fingers crossed).

what could have been one of the greatest HC Punk records of all time is completely ruined by one of the absolute worst sounding production jobs ever. whoever engineered the recording of this LP should never even be able to operate a even a transistor radio because they would make it sound like the worst radio ever made. the production on this is the most hideously neutered horseshit sound i think ive ever heard in my life. its so bad that it completely takes away from the quality of the bands playing and song writing. truly one of the absolute worst travesties of the 80s. -

I mail ordered this thru Touch & Go when it first came out and it came with a little handbill inside the sleeve, the dimensions were 3 by 4 inches, or around that size. And the picture on the handbill was the NECROS name on top with the swords thru the skeleton image and on the bottom was a Ohio address, I can't be more specific because I sold my copy years ago, but I haven't seen this mentioned. And as an aside when I sold my pressing IQ 32, I slipped this handbill in that, later ing that it went with the LP. So if you have this record check inside the sleeve, good luck.
