...a little known LP that came and went on the LHI label out of hollywood in 1968, so small was the stock copy it may not have actually been properly released to joe public...its real punchy studio produced off kilter sunshine pop, a disturbed lounge groove, but the lyrics are the thing to check with this biscuit...anti vietnam and drug comedowns are whats going on and that aint too usual with this kind of gear...cats digging the mamas'n'papas when they were messed up and falling apart will get a strong buzz off the grooves...mainly self penned (with a great version of louie louie) and compliments other efforts that could be deemed similar such as the feminine complex from nashville who were getting their one and only disk ready roundabout the same time...a mighty fine sound and extremely worthwhile and thats a fact...
