this is a real masterpiece and the music is very unique. "big schlepp" was used for a tv show in 70s . this is a jazz record for people who don't like jazz. dave pike is a master of the vibraphone and his fellow musicians are top notch. a joy from start to end.

Absolutely terrific album, this builds on previous releases and then presses solidly ahead... the Dave Pike Set was clearly evolving into fusion and away from their pop sensibilities. The best album by the original Set, even if Infra Red or Four Reasons has the better album art, this is the one to get (along with all of the others)
