Reanimated Mix is the real bomb here. Killer breakbeat stormer with a fun bassline and the JB's horns to funk it up. -
Edited 18 years agoManaging to combine the worst of rap, techno, rave and the belgian hoover, "James Brown is Still Alive" was released in 1991 to largely unsuspecting scene still recovering from James Brown being dead. Quickly followed by Elvis leaving the building, etc, etc.
And yet. This is one of the tracks and groups whose spirit (and kick drum) was heralding the birth of a new hardcore scene which would be far more interesting.
