Bill Conti – Rocky (Original Motion Picture Score)

An excellent soundtrack, great listen! Quality brass and strings, however a bit bass shy on most tracks. The thematic carryover of the signature notes of ''Gonna Fly Now'' into the other tracks are classic!

Absolutely iconic, what more is there to say? Found this in a budget bin for $1, and it's one of the best dollars I've ever spent.

I noticed a kind of pre-echo effect while listening to this LP with headphones. Not an intentional thing as on Led Zeppelin II, more like a print-through from the tape from which the LP was sourced. But the overall quality of the sound was stunning and the music so epic it didn't bother me that much.
