This is an expensive MP3 holder. It comes with an oversized coaster that you can use to protect your counter from a hot plate of food while you listen to your s.
As others have mentioned, this is a disappointing pressing. Very dull sound and noisy like I’ve come to expect from United Record Pressing. -
Edited one year agoGreg Edwards’ bass sounds incredible on this pressing. Magnificent trio. That said, never knew Troy Van Leeuwen played on this in the studio. Makes total sense, of course, with Failure’s APC/Tool affiliations.
Now if the band could just give af about its WILD TYPE ANDROID pressings, which were uniformly atrocious. Also. Hello Merch despises its clients and customers. They give fewer fux than Failure and seem to harbor active contempt for customers. I believe WTD was pressed at MRP. It was seppuku worthy. -
Pretty lousy vinyl quality for a great album. Bought new, spin cleaned twice, surface noise/crackles still all over the place. Hopefully will be picking up the blue UK press which is supposedly much better?...

My copy purchased from the latest restock has the band’s name in a yellowish hue on the front cover. Anyone elses?

9/10. Killer pressing of a killer album. These guys are one of the greatest hard rock artists of our time. I discovered Failure when they put this album out, having somehow totally missed them in the 90s. The follow-on two albums are just insane, too. I’m grateful to Failure for coming back in such style and strength.

Edited 3 years agoVery poor quality of pressing. A lot of pops and cracks. The vinyl have also a lot of scratches. Totaly FAILURE :(
Remains to buy a CD, I guess. -
Edited 2 years agoSounds pretty great to my ears, better than most new vinyl on the market these days, and on par with "In The Future...". Just carefully change out the crappy paper sleeves for a much better pair of poly inners (Diskeeper), and give the new discs a good wet clean (Spin-Clean), and you're all set.
