I think the album would have fared better if it had been completely instrumental. I don't know why Mick took on the singing. Consequently, Side One is superior to Side Two and makes for a very short album. The Sound of Waves was added to the cd pressing to make it a longer album and it works, although the track itself is actually track 2 (Lost Affections in a Room) played backwards with a few additions.

Sadly the b-side of Sensitive single (The Sound Of Waves) was not included on the album. That b-side is excellent and the album is rather short, adding that extra track still would have the album run time under 40 minutes.

Edited 2 years agoA delightfully whacky album that I've grown to love. Needless to say the bass playing is phenomenal. I've even grown to appreciate the rather unspecial singing on side two, though the lyrics can be dodgy. Nice pressing and good 80s sound on this vinyl. -

The A side is instrumental and deep and moody.
Very nice (backwards) fretless bass guitar, synths and woodwinds.
The songs on the B side are quite catchy with vocals.
