Notes

Recording sessions for this album started in summer 1980 at Finston Manor in Tenteron (28 June) and Super Bear Studios in Berre.les-Alpes (16 July) and continued at Finston Manor in Tenteron (from 2 to 25 October 1980), AIR Studios in London (from 27 October to 3 November and on 8 and 9 December 1980), AIR Studios in Montserrat (from 2 February to 3 March 1981) and Rude Studios in Campbeltown (from August to December 1981). 'Tug Of War' was released on 19 April 1982 in UK and on 26 April 1982 in the US.

Just listening to this now. Vinyl is flat and noise free. Package is awesome and the side 2 is really cool. I have the og of this and the remix doesnt beat it nor does it sound bad. Its a different experience and just as good. IMO.

Quiet EMI vinyl pressing with excellent sonics and wide soundstage. Every instrument is very well defined. sound quality is real improvement over 1st US press.

Tug of war sounds beautiful especially when the orchestra kicks in followed by a smooth transition into Take it away. A beautiful album through and through. Well done Sir Paul.
