If this is the absolute best quality the label could do then jt shouldn't ever have been released for sale. Sounds like they are singing into a paper bag filled with foam. A complete disservice to such an iconic album.

This pressing is very quiet. It also has a couple of skips on a song despite immaculate care. I'll sell my copy as soon as I grab a better one.
-
My copy just sounds quiet and very flat/un-dynamic, It gets a little better at HIGH volume. Shaolin Sword side played very clean but Wu Tang Sword side had a little surface noise, multiple pops, and “minor” skips. Hoping a cleaning will help. I plan to hold onto it till I get a better copy.

Edited one year agoNot impressed. Whoever pressed this should be ashamed. No bass and treble is non existent. Such a shame. Jesus....I just looked at this under a strong light and the flaws in this pressing are completely unacceptable. THIS IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE WORSE VINYL I OWN OUT OF 700 PLUS RECORDS

When you turn this up, it rocks! After a cleaning, it's bumping! And of course, a killah album from front to back! ✌️🐝

I don't hate this pressing, if it's the only one you can get, it's still worth getting, imo. Little muffled, not very dynamic but it's not the worst press of a classic hip hop album I've heard by far. That being said, if you can get ahold of it, the VMP double LP sounds leaps and bounds better than this.

Got this new for very, very cheap. Overall mixed, mostly negative. I’ll it though, the hi-fi adds an element at first it doesnt really stick to the brain well.
