This cut pressed at MPO with the AHDN matrix is missing the very beginning opening chord. It does not jump, and also retains the same horrible top end cut that the 2009 CD remaster had at the very beginning of the track. Poor.

Hi, my copy of "a hard day's night" from this De Agostini collection, bought in Italy, has the very beginning (the attack) of the first guitar chord on the title track which is missing... like if who made the lacquer cut started the source a fraction of a second after the true beginning, infact there aren't any clicks/pops on my LP but it's just how the lacquer was cut! I suspect that there are thousands copies around (if not directly all of them!) with this very same error... and it's shocking that during the following production steps (father disc, mother disc, stamper disc, vinyl disc) nobody really noticed it at all... so, it was a mix of a cutting error (to begin with) and a complete lack of quality control after that error at the start of the production process. Please, let me know if also your copies of this record have the same problem... but i strongly doubt that they used this acetate+father+mother+stamper to press only my copy, 'cause such kind of error is NOT a pressing error but it's directly a cutting error which occurred in the very first production step.
