Reviews

This is certainly the earliest Laxmikant-Pyarelal soundtrack I own. It's very able, with good performances. I don't find it particularly memorable. If anything, the most surprising thing is that while the Theme Music is absolute 1960s gold, with that "American cop show" sound, the beat is so reminiscent of Brian Eno's "In Dark Trees" that it's hard to believe that he wasn't inspired by this soundtrack. I could see it being a coincidence, but it's almost uncanny!
