Black vinyl.
Gatefold sleeve artwork has matte finish backdrop on front and back cover with glossy figures. Inner gatefold has glossy moon and footsteps with matte artwork as well. Purple inner gatefold desert scene is also printed on the inside of the outer sleeve. Inner sleeves are black on one side and have a photo of the "riff-chart" of the Dopesmoker track on the other. Both inner sleeves are identical. Name of the band is a sticker on the outer packaging; sleeve itself only has labeling on the spine.

I feel like I made a pretty solid choice going with trusty black. Very flat disc, hardly any detectable surface noise, mastering works for me! Of course I hope the color variants sound just as good! -
