Was supposed to be limited to 100 copies and for EMP only but due to the pressing plant's restrictions a surplus of red copies has been pressed and delivered to US distributors as well.
Cat.number printed as EOM-LP-46046 everywhere on release except on spine where it's printed as EOM LP 46046.
Tracks positions given sequentially on release, regardless of vinyl sides.
Each vinyl has different color, first one is red opaque and second one is almost orange with a slight, very little, marbled effect.

Love this release, my discs are almost a Florescent red. Is this technically the first press? -
Re-listening to the album just now and I am enjoying it much more than I when it first came out. I'm working my way through every High on Fire album to put together a distilled playlist of my favorite tracks. For the record my favorite lps are Death is this Communion, De Vermis and Art of Self Defense. To my surprise, and contrary to my memory of listening to Electric Messiah when it first came out, this album is full of great songs that rival my personal favorites from across their discography. My pressing of this red version is also excellent, nice and quite, Des's drums sound thunderous, clear, and up front, as they should be--Chris Maggio was great when I saw them live in 2019 but Des is such a great drummer he'll always be missed. If you haven't listened to this one in a while it's worth coming back to. -
I read this was limited to 1000 copies but more than 1400 seems to have it...again lying ppl not serious

Got this version on release because it was the same price as the regular black version hoping this would be worth a little bit more, that's definitely not the case. Luckily red looks supersick for this album and it sounds great too. Purchased from Large (Dutch EMP) and there are nog pressing errors on my copy. -
Side D of mine has a locked groove, I've included a picture above^ anyone else experience this with theirs?? -
Edited 6 years agoAwesome album! But mine has the same pressing error where Side A repeats on Side B. Red copy as well :-( I'm keeping it anyway. Purchased on Amazon.

My red copy came with Side A pressed on both sides of disc 1. Bought through amazon, so buyer beware! -
