Does anyone know where and when the tracks on Weld were recorded? (I put that badly, which gigs, is what I mean!). There is nothing listed on the LP version at least.
-
Which is the original order of the songs on Weld? As on the LP, or on the CD? I had the LP once, and the song order flowed, and built up much better than on the CD. But when I recently tried to rearrange the CD songs, there were sounds between the songs that did not fit together.

One of the best live performance of rock music all-time, simply amazing. The tune, the groove, the guitar playing, all awesome.

Edited 5 years agoI´ve bought a vinyl copy with the catalog number 7599-26671-1P and an "PR-Copy" sticker at the back side of the cover, printed in by WARNER MUSIC MANUFACTURING EUROPE. Is there anything special with this copy, cause I can't find it listed with the "P" at the end of the catalog number?

There are even too much songs for 2LPs, playing time here is 26-30 Minutes per side. Too much.
I wonder how great this would have sounded if they'd put it on a 4LP Box Set instead. -
If you are on the fence about buying this or not, DO IT. The sound quality is amazing, as is the performance. Neil's guitar playing and tone are otherworldly! It's so good!

There are 36 current copies of this landmark album on double vinyl that was only released in the EU back in 1991??? Hmmm, I smell a bootleg.
