Physical or streamed album don't exist anymore. This is due to a past discord between MC & its former record corp. (Polydor). There was a trial which leaded, still nowadays, towards the fact that MC is the plain legal owner if the 4 first records (Qui sème le vent récolte le tempo /1991 to MC Solaar /1998) but Polydor still owns all the exploitation rights. That's why you cannot find and/or buy any records of any type, and on any streaming platform neither. You may have a chance if you find some 2nd-hand physical records, but you've got to be lucky and a bit rich :)

Edited 4 years agoArguably the best hip hop release to ever come from the European continent and I am a long term UK hip hop head who copped this back in 1994 and it still blows me away!!! Oh.. by the way this ain't ragga / pop rap as labelled by a Discogs idiot, its straight up hip hop at the essence and Jimmy Jay, Boom Bass, and Phillipe Zdar and the great MC Solaar were blessed with divine intervention to produce such a masterpiece. Also I love 90s French Hip hop as I own many releases.
Its just a pity that Solaar is not so good now with recent releases after Mach 6.
Prose Combat 9.5 / 10 for me!!! -
The album "Prose Combat" (and "Qui Sème Le Vent Récoltent Le Tempo", "Paradisiaque" and "MC Solaar") are no longer available for sale since the early 2000s following a judgment between the artist and his former record company (Polydor). It is also unavailable on the purchase and streaming platforms.
