Edited one year agoClassic album mixing multiple genres of music including rock, punk, blues, reggae, hip-hop.
QUESTION: My copy has the dingbats font on each edge. Is this normal? Why is it not shown in the photos? -
Edited 9 years agois there a version of "Thanx" that is complete on another release other than the 1st edition cassette?

popsike.com has some pretty cool collections on it also, including selling dates of records internationally and the price they go for in both euros and USD, the test prints for what i got goes for 300 bucks alone.
-
i heard and read that there was only 1000 printed of the 6 albums, and 40 oz. has 4 different colors of the album disc. not to menton the original cd and tapes had different tracks, if you think this shtuff is expensive now wait a few years ive been collecting for about 5 years now and the stuff keeps going up so buy it while you can and quit bitching about the price.

There is no quality for the repress. According to the rumors and people from the factory 10,000 units of the 40oz to Freedom was pressed on Sunburst yellow vinyl but due to legality issues the release was canceled. That means that there are a few test pressings out there but the rest is either sitting in a warehouse awaiting to be destroyed or have already been. It sucks!

These guys overpricing the hell out of this is ridiculous. This is (in my opinion ) one of the greatest albums made and to rape someone like these guys are.....shame. Does anyone know where I can still get it cheaper? If I can get it for $30 or so a piece I'll buy 10 and sell em on here for 40 or 45. Maybe help lower the price. Or if anyone has an extra copy they'd be willing to part with let me know. I've wanted this on wax for many years. Cheers!

Well my previous post is null. At least about the tracks on the re-issue. From Interpunk...
"We apologize again for any inconvenience. The delay with the Sublime -40 Oz. To Freedom (Double) LP is not because of a factor on our end. I spoke with my buyer again about the Sublime -40 Oz. To Freedom (Double) LP and it looks like there has been a licensing issue between the label and distributor, so the release date for this LP has been changed to TBA sometime this year."

Even though the re-issue of 40 oz to Freedom is delayed until late January to early February there are still places to order a copy. This re-issue supposedly will be a limited run, on 180g Sunburst yellow vinyl (not black), it will contain all the original tracks that are on the early Skunk pressings including all samples. So this is going to be a real deal issue of 40oz to Freedom. A copy here will set you back $27.25 plus shipping.

Don't even consider paying $250 for this album on vinyl! Especially because there's a new pressing coming December 2014:
