A great record.. I listened so little about Allah-Las but they didn't convince me in the 'new big garage thing' key, towards which certain press seemed to push the band. Despite this, their fourth record is a great job. A quite, mature sound which propels the band to very high peaks. I hope the relative commercial failure does not force the group to disband.. -

Not that that one was bad but this one exceeds expectation.

Fresh psychedelic retro pop. This would be a cool album regardless of when it was made. Elements of so many things-- the Kinks, Love, etc. Not the quietest vinyl I've heard, but overall everything just works. What a cool album!
