To echo everyone else, this is a good one. The mix is damn near perfect for a DM album. Very technical and atmospheric, every insturment and vocals are perfectly placed with plenty of air.

Absolutely fantastic album!
I got this pressing and the first song on every side has very brief moments every 1,5 seconds where the music will skip, small gaps in the sound.
I ed my supplier and was sent a substitute copy immediately which had the same fault to it.
I’m sure it’s not my set up, I did check that. My other vinyl records play fine. -
Edited 2 years agoThe album is really worthwhile. Although listening to this record, it is quite easy to list the names of cult Death Metal bands who influenced the inspiration of Blood Incantation. But these guys has mixed its own Death Metal cocktail with a claim to originality. The tracks are complex, technical, they are composed and recorded very skillfully and talented.
The record is damn good. The band's approach to filling tracks with all sorts of tricks is still able to delight the ear, and the atmosphere will pull you along, even if it is a short-term, but nevertheless a real space flight. The sound is kind of old-fashioned, but quite interesting with a specific sound design and original engineering. At first glance, it may seem that the album lacks completeness. But in this case, the decision to fit such a rich musical idea into 36 minutes for the band was not bravado, but a very complete and holistic creative decision. You need to listen to this monolith completely, without paying attention to the number of tracks.
A special mention is the packaging and design of the release: luxurious colorful gatefold, large poster, absolutely crazy 20-page booklet, insert with lyrics and CD. Heavy vinyl plays just perfect - balanced deep clear sound with precise details. If you compare sound from vinyl with sound from CD, then the sound from different media will give you a diverse listening experience. In my opinion, they have really significant differences. And it is vinyl that reveals this music in the best possible way.
The band has a very serious potential, if they continue in the same spirit - in a couple of decades they will be called new classics. I am ready to call this work one of the most interesting for 2019, worthy of being in the collection of a demanding listener.
+ UPD:
LP DR12/DR13 -
Death Metal album of the last year 2019 imo! Simply magnificent! Vinyl plays perfectly, no background noises, completely recorded in analog and with great dynamics and definition of each instrument.
