Had forgotten how good this record sounds. Quiet pressing, good soundstage and crazy detailed elements. Superb mastering on this one! (Rega Planar 3/Ortofon Black/Rega Fono MM5/Yamaha RX-V6A/B&W DM603 S2) -

I am not sure if people just saying positive things about this pressing because it cost them a lot of money or I have bad copy, but the sound is not that great of this pressing.
I do not recommend to buy it for a high price for just having it in collection, because it is not worth the money. I can hear with my speakers and headphones that highs are somewhat distorted, I hear some sibilant in her voice which gets me a headaches. I am getting them in two first tracks. And lot of crackling on background, some static there. Not in highs of her voice tho. Just painful sibilant however base is as rich as pop album should be.
Although playing from track Cool it's getting better, in Physical definitely better.
(I put on the turntable The Moonlight Edition press and I did notice that it sounds the same! :D But without the surface noise). -
Holy I'm so happy I got this for less than retail! It sounds amazing, with barely any surface noise and no pops/clicks. -
Edited 4 years agoFinally found one for a decent price recently. I planned to wait out a bit longer & possibly snatch it for cheaper, but looking at how the price is raising more & more, I decided to not wait any longer.
Great pressing, no surface noise or pops. Only thing is that the sleeve feels a bit wobbly / cheap. -
Great pressing. I had no issues with the cut here, it sounds clear and dynamic to me. No surface noise, pops, or clicks. (AT-VM95ML, Klipsch R-51PM / 10” 150W Sub)
It’s possible these were packed dirty, run it through a spin clean or record vac. -
Beautiful color but the packaging is underwhelming and GOD does the vinyl record sound horrible. Skips and crackles on almost the entire first side, second side sounds better but there is still surface noise. -
Great tunes, and a really great pressing. Nice and quiet, while rich and vibrant. Also, kudos on some really nice stereo separation. Five stars, all around.

Edited 4 years agoThis album aint good at all. As much as i like her debut album ''Dua Lipa - Dua Lipa'' this ''Future nostalgia'' is a big quality drop. Really shame that she changed her music, into something old style and dated for today's standards.

Ordered from Dua's webstore directly yet sadly, the gatefold sleeve ended up damaged on both ends. Luckily, the quality of the pressing itself was fantastic! Zero clicks at all, and super quiet all throughout. More than happy with this version =)
