Edited one year agoBought a 2023 copy of this from iam8bit and it sounds amazing. I had to get a replacement LP1 as there was a wiggly scratch at the end of A2 on my original, but iam8bit helped me out and sent a replacement. I've now listened to the replacement disk and it now all sounds amazing, even though there are some visible paper scuffs on the surface of the records. Thankfully they don't affect play much if at all (similar to my copy of Grim Fandango from iam8bit).
I've found iam8bit's vinyl releases to be a bit hit and miss in of quality of product and quality of pressing, but this one is definitely a hit in of pressing. The pressing plant have done a decent job on that front. The only thing that could've been improved in of quality is not putting the LPs inside these awful paper inner sleeves. They always seem to leave paper scuffs on the records, so I wish companies would start putting them in poly-lined ones instead. -
The record itself is really good quality, I haven't got any problem with crackles, however I had to clear the spindle holes, because there were burr -
Purchased from IAm8Bit, in early 2021, received late 2021. Didn't open for a bit because of the time. LP1 A side is pressed off center and distorted, very visual on the lead in. B side and LP2 are fine. ed iam8bit, but am outside of their refund window.

I have tried 3 different versions of this now and they all crackle throughout. The kind of crackle that a good clean won't fix. What is going on with quality control these days for soundtracks especially? -
My copy purchased in 2021 directly from iam8bit was pressed off center. Sound distortion can be heard. ed their customer service and they promptly sent out another copy. Replacement copy was even worse... ing customer service again. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm. -
