Reviews

Per other reviews, the vinyl is great but my only gripe with this (2023) reissue is the quality of the sleeves. Compared to the usual high gloss finish of most AP output, this and the My Favorite Things copy both came on thick card stock but not the best quality finish on the printed covers; more like satin finish than the usual high gloss. Moreover, after years of buying and being delighted with all QRP items I own, the 45rpm version of Herbie Hancock's Headhunters came with two x sides 3 & 4. A rare but worrying QC issue, hopefully future purchases will be trouble-free and their usual high quality products.

My copy does not have the 7" otherwise flat quiet vinyl nice reissue I am not sure the value of these alternative takes. Would rather hear some studio dialogue but I don't get any of that.

Nice pressing. Flat and quiet. Mastering is a little more open that the Kevin Gray cut from the previous decade. Would have liked a stereo/mono option a la MFT, but the outakes disc is informative. I can recommend this pressing.

Torn on this one. Bass is over done in my opinion, also distortion on side two. Otherwise great music.

Absolutely fantastic soundstage on this pressing. It's a record to show off how good your system (or speakers) can sound.
