Edited 3 months agoSadly poor sounding pressing on my copy anyway.
Few pop, cracks and a bunch of sibilance in the higher notes.
I can only recommend to listen to those early recordings on CD's in the first archive box set.
Buy it only for collector purposes. ;-( -
It has to be appreciated that these are good quality recordings of an unknown artist a long time ago, so we are blessed to have them as historical, archival pieces. Young Joni showed some real confidence and strong musicianship. Then she went on to become a COLOSSAL artist! -
Amazing sound. Got this for $15 on Amazon. I went in with low expectations on sound quality but this sounds amazing. Nancy Whiskey is my favorite. This record is mostly traditional songs, and Joni sounds great throughout. -
This looks/sounds like it's in mono, although it's not marked as such on the label anywhere. -
GZ Vinyl garbage. Save your money ..What a waste! dollar pins and Crosley players will be thankful.
