Only 333 copies - hand-numbered
Third Man Records - Third Man Pressing in Detroit.
Recorded mainly during the 2020 pandemic (April - June 2020) at Hog Hill Studio, Rye, U.K.
‘Made in Rockdown’
333 Edition is limited to 333 copies and is pressed on 'yellow-with-black-dots' vinyl created using 33 recycled vinyl copies of McCartney and McCartney II by Third Man Pressing. This special "regrind" pressing is the first version of McCartney's third self-titled solo album.
Includes two-sided six- color poster measuring approximately 24 x 36. The front full-color photo montage combines the images from the three gatefold inner designs. The back is black-and-white and reproduces the McCARTNEY III MADE IN ROCKDOWN poster included with the red US limited edition LP. But it is not simply blown up to fit the larger size as the small print (Mary McCartney photo credit and credit line at the bottom) have remained very small indeed.
Catalog # under logo “Third Man Records” on back cover - TMR707
Catalog # "Capitol Records" and "MPL" - B003285401 (on runaways)

Be careful, people! There are at least two scammers trying to sell this item using different s each one. One selling it for 80 or 90 USD and the other one selling it from 900 USD.
-
Watch out for the scammers that are selling extremely rare records at suspiciously low prices. Be careful

These part time collectors below need to realise that record collecting is not about the music. Paul (The Beatle) McFartney could press up the sound of his plops dropping on brown flecked poop vinyl and people would buy it! He is probably the most famous living pop singer, despite the fact that no one could name a single song he has written after the Frog Chorus.

Just here to laugh at the fools who think this price is justified. Totally forgettable album. They didn't even do a nice job with the colors lol

I happened to be at Third Man Records on Record Store Day Drop #1. I happened to find a copy of this album hiding in their limited edition bin. I knew this was going to be a snag. I’ve been searching for this record for a while ever since it was announced, and I finally got one. Better check Third Man Records in Nashville or Detroit sometime.

What's the reason behind the actual price spike? Why a 4-month old vinyl costs more than MFSL UHQR records?
-
Dying laughing at anyone spending multiple thousands for this shit that will never ever ever be a record of note.
-
A terrible album and a mediocre at best sounding pressing. I felt I got ripped off at $60 and feel terrible for the sucker who spent over $4k on Paul's most ignorable release. If you're a completionist, buy the black vinyl for $25 and spend the other $4k on a vacation when this Corona thing is over. In 10 years time I can't see this album going for over $100.
