Yeah, this pressing is pretty crap, which is not surprising in the slightest considering it was pressed at MPO. I swear almost every record I've purchased that was pressed at MPO has been utterly atrocious. It's noisy, covered in pops, clicks and non-fill, and Wild At Heart is so distorted it's unlistenable. Aside from being a pretty collectors item, this isn't worth tracking down from an audio point of view. -
Found this buried in a crate in the back of the record store I work for. Got it for pretty cheap and am super happy with it as I didn't know there were any drifting around in stores still, let alone in the US. The vinyl is a beautiful pinkish red and the cover is far better than the original, I'm exceedingly happy with my copy. -
This is a nice, quiet, and punchy variant compared to the BFRSD Blue version. I love this album that this is the most spin record of mine among Lana's discography.

Edited 2 years agoMy copy took two cleanings then 95% of surface noise was gone. Lots of crackle and static before; more than most new vinyl that I've purchased and played without a clean. It's really nothing to get upset about. Should clean most vinyl anyways. Solid cherry-ish red. Run out on Side B: 00602435497846-B and 220612E2/D..... Made in Canada on back -

Wait so if I order a Target copy I will get a different Red to the ones I bought in March from JB-HiFi in Australia?

Everyone complaining that this pressing is noisy but.. mine sounds great? I’ve had no issues. Does say Made in on the back, vinyl is bright, opaque red. -
Odd... I was just playing this last night (HMV version) and it sounded pretty good (after a clean)... still a little bit of an issue with LDR's vocals veering perilously close to clipping (as with blue and green NFR), but overall decent sound and noise only audible between tracks and low level anyway.
