Edited one month agoMine looked dusty/dirty from the factory and probably because of that had a ton of noise. A thorough clean might make it fine.
Edit: After cleaning there is still a constant sizzling sound in the background like some others have mentioned. Sadly can't return it anymore but may look into the Mondo version. -
Quiet album, sounds great with nice dynamics. Did not hear any noticeable background noise on my copy.

Edited 4 years agoReceived my 1st copy from Amazon. Constant background noise that sounds like ''early sizzle'' of bacon, when the pan is just not hot enough yet.... Asked for a replacement from Amazon. Also ordered a copy from my local record store. Will test the 3 of them and return the worst ones to Amazon... Crossing my fingers, but if unsatisfied with this pressing, I'll probably look for a copy of the Mondo version... will update on my other copies.
Update 1: Replacement copy sounds just as bad as the first one I received... Sizzling distorion in the background....
Update 2: The copy from my local record shop sounds just as bad... returned
Such a waste of a good soundtrack!! :(
Update 3: Bought the Mondo version, 61.99$ cad from my local record shop. Black vinyl. It sounds MUCH much better! No background noise. You can tell right form the first 30sec of the first track. Too bad it's so expensive.
Such a great great game... -
My copy has a constant background noise as well. Not a good pressing, the vinyl is really light. I am waiting for my copy from Mondo, I hope that one is better.

Edited 4 years agoMine's noisy even after 4-5 playthroughs although visually the records look immaculate. Which is a shame because the music is so good and dynamic. A real bummer

Edited 4 years agoWhen this releases can someone who also owns the Mondo pressing compare the two versions? I find it unusual this is coming out considering there's already a mondo pressing, but I also understand them wanting to do a more definitive, official-looking pressing for such a big game.
