Edited 18 years agoPeach taxi is the definitive tune of this series. Hannant generates some twiddly funk trance unlike the mainstream 909 thunders. Although most of the songs here are not that great, the artists here are. Celestial Soul by As One is wonderful. Glamorous Hooligan's Wasted Youth Club Classics has one good tune on it, and Andrea Parker's Kiss my arp is also a one tune wonder. Peach taxi is not available elsewhere, so I am happy.

Edited 3 years agoLast volume of the series and the weakest. Not only styles do vary a lot but there's also no sense of flow. Conventional techno/house tracks are followed by abstract/experimental forms of music which do not fit with the rest. There are only a handful of decent tracks, the rest will probably put your nerves on unless you're into experimental laid back abstract music. The tracks I used to enjoy on CD1 are the ones by Orlando Voorn, Trace, Buckfunk 3000 (I think), The Advent, Random Logic and Cristial Vogel. CD2 instead was much harder to get into, except the ones by Stasis and Neil Laandstrum there wasn't much left I could enjoy.
Still ing buying this sealed in 2000 from the reduced section. As always two thumbs up for the genuine booklets (or should we say books?) these compilations had!
