What an amazing release with all star band - personalities. Near mint vinyls and poster in excellent condition after 45 years. Remarkable!!

A toss up between this and Dreams Less Sweet for the best Psychic TV album, both are incredible. Not only is this essential listening, the recording and pressing are absolutely top notch - lush, quiet, and present - Genesis sounds like he’s in your room.

An important album that seems to be held hostage by Warner/WEA outside of Europe. I gladly bought the Angry Love LP but would like a good digital version, which is difficult to find. Apparently around 2016 or 2017 Warner/WEA UK/Rhino did release a FLAC version of the original album and Themes but there is no way to purchase it outside of Europe. Maybe if we are lucky one day they will pull their heads out of you know where and allow people outside of Europe to buy it. Perhaps, if we are extra lucky, they might allow a decent third party label to license it and release the album on 2xCD without butchered mastering or crappy needledrop sourcing.

Edited one year agoSource the original vinyl of this if you want the best sounding version. The master tape was deteriorating when retrieved in 2005 and baked which gives you one final chance to remaster, it would have suffered somewhat by the breakdown of the tape. The angry love editions would have used that master tape. The WEA releases are all legitimate, all the others are quite possibly needle drops or pressings from the baked master.
Edited. I’d forgotten to mention the Japanese double CD from 1998 is a legitimate WEA release that sounds amazing and completely worth the asking price. It has a replica mini fold out poster also. -

I believe a proper vinyl reissue of Force The Hand is due out this year in August by Angry Love Productions. According to the GPO website.
