Edited 6 months agoThe '89 Compose reissue contains mostly different tracks than the first release, Check the track listings as you may want both releases. I sure did! Not the greatest stuff by the two and the sound is not much to recommend, but there are interesting moments indeed for fans.

Edited 6 years agoThe dog years for Dan fans had begun. We got Fagen's Nightfly in 1982 but things seemed bleak for more Steely Dan. Then one day in college 1983 I saw this in the bins. I literally gasped..."What the hell is this"? I mumbled as I fished through my pockets for cash to spare. And we were tied over for another year with this amazing set of baby pictures. Highlights include Yellow Peril and Fagen singing Brooklyn! Two years later in '85, brought us the UK press "Sun Mountain" collection of demos. Steely Dan fans were resplendant. N
