Sounds like someone put a wet blanket over my speakers with not much top end at all and everything drenched in sludge makes for a difficult listen IMO. Love the band but please show some regards to fans who would like to listen on quality equipment and not beaming out of $2 ear buds on there phone!

Edited 2 years agoAwful, distorted sound. Great Music - but I clearly do not recommend to buy this.
It's supposed to sound like that? Great excuse for non-performance.
Addendum after listening through the complete record: This is one of those that really makes me angry. The car doesn't drive. Oh, it's supposed to be like that. The breathing machine does not ventilate - noo worries - it's supposed to be like that.
I am buying records to listen to them and I expect a minimum of quality control and if the records are sounding like this and this is revealed after shipping them out then for christ's sake recall the batch! Every other industry needs to do this, why should this be different for the record industry? -

Great no surface noise pressing. Don't get worried about the sound, it's fuzzy and muddy but it's supposed to be like that, even muddier sound on digital release. Quality hardcover gatefold sleeve with matte print, looks awesome.

One of the best albums of 2021. Nice heavy gatefold, feels like a Stoughton. I think the production is outstanding, nice low end and nice clear vocals (minus track 1 where they seem to have distorted the vocals a touch. The CD is the same) and guitar solos. Sounds like a combo of 70's Sabbath and Heart. Doomy and catchy as hell.

This is a great, heavy-hitting album, but it's sounds much too dark and muffled. I know that's kinda the retro 'feel' Lucifer tends to go for anyway, but it's far too heavy handed on this album. I'm not sure if this is just a bad sounding copy / record, or if they actually meant for it to sound like this. Disappointing sound, either way. Perhaps it's time for Lucifer to try another producer.

I bought mine from Sound Pollution's webstore. It came signed (on the cover) by all of the band. My copy also came with two lyric sheets.
