maybe in general this production is fairly slept on. it has some really good aspects of progression and development that make it great to listen to from beginning to end. it is creative and not monotonous, carrying a lot of different influence that even reaches into traditional middle eastern and asian, island reggae and dub, at times. i am not a fan of a lot of vocals so this record does great on my ears. i'm hearing a lot of rooted trip hop oozing out of this record as well, with just enough melody, harmonics, and organic instrumentation to keep it on track. as i write this, the record looks super affordable wherever you are, priced at about $7 US. That is well worth the quality of this music. The highlights of this record for me are Firm Roots, Stowing Away, and Traveling Down.
