ronny deserves great respect truly decadent music in line with the new romantic movement this track alone is worth a hundred truly remarkable tracks this is the wonder of wonders the more you listen to this song the more you want to listen to it probably a lot of the credit goes to the two great producers ( Georg Kajanus ) (Peter Godwin) two truly brilliant minds the fast-paced rhythm of this song is perfect also ronny's voice is wonderful this is pure magic I hope someone will take into consideration a remastered CD of all ronny's songs ronny thanks for your great songs a big hug and greeting to ronny here from northern Italy !!!!!!

This is an exquisite and sadly rare piece of vintage 80's synth-noir disco, that renders many of its contemporaries mere plastic. Very much an aesthetic template on which the Eurythmics based their more comercially viable, but no less excellent early hits. French model Ronny affects a Germanic-tinged vocal atop an intense, melancholic widesreen production. Side B boasts the very Ultravox-ish offering "Blue Cabaret", a bittersweet homage to Marlene Deitrich with darkly gorgeous lyrics and a true sense of stage. Finally, a cover of Sly Stone's funk number "If You Want Me To Stay" is given a smarmy, Brian Ferry piano bar treatment. Immeasureable light and shade, and completely classic.
