Edited 12 years agoWarning! If you value dynamic range in disco music, i. e. to have the soft and loud parts exactly as specified by the original engineer(s), STAY AWAY from this release, since it has been literally mastered to death!! With 2005+ pop music, this might be the usual thing these days, however, with these classics it must not. My definition of "remastering" does *not* equal making every single note as loud as possible, and taking extreme ear-damaging clipping and screechy trebles for granted in the process. No. Count me out.
P.S. The LP version (if it exists) ought to have much softer mastering, as usual.
