Edited 2 years agoDon't Let Me Go is heavily influenced by Alcazar's Crying At the Discotheque, very similar intro. The next song's refrain is also reminiscent of "All Out of Love", at the time covered by Andru Donalds and played a lot on German radio.

Auch auf dem 8. Album, sinniger weise "Alone – the 8th album" betitelt, geht der Mix aus "Sound aus den 80ern" und "dem Touch der 90ern" voll auf. Einfache Texte mit coolen Refrains. Schon allein in dem 3.33 min. langen Stück "Sexy, sexy lover" kommt dessen Textzeile 12 mal vor. Aber egal, denn was auf diesem Album zählt ist Fun, Fun, Fun. Der "Space Mix" am Ende sticht eigentlich nur durch die Anwesenheit des Rappers Eric Singleton hervor, da es einen ähnlichen Mix bereits auf dem 7. Album gab. Einwerfen möchte ich aber auf jeden Fall noch, daß Dieter Thomas in Zukunft davon abbringen sollte noch einmal solche Schnulzen wie "All I have" + "How you mend a broken heart" zu singen. Ohne diese beiden Ohrentöter hätte es eine viel höhere Punktzahl gegeben. Ebenfalls sehr komisch, daß "Rouge et noir" einen französischen Titel hat, aber der gesamte Text auf englisch gesungen wird. Trotz alledem freue ich mich schon auf das 9. Album.
