Sounds very good and noise is practically nonexistent. Transparent color looks good.

Excellent pressing. No warps, great mastering with almost no pops or crackles. Crankability is great here. Kick back, play it loud and try not to get whiplash!

"Onward To Golgotha" is like the first blow of a shovel on cemetery ground to dig the deepest grave. Like an experienced gravedigger, Incantation has been methodically unearthing the darkest and most disgusting essence of Death Metal for more than thirty years. Well, it is impossible to overestimate the debut work at all. That's what really deserves the title of "classic".

The next reissue for those waiting to receive this masterpiece in their collection turned out to be more than worthy. In fact, this press does not differ from the previous ones from Relapse, except for the new color design of vinyl - the green turned out to be simply amazing, with a turquoise glare when viewed in the light. And a little gratitude to the deceased R. Deo in the insert. The cover looks a little more contrasting, but has good sharpness, and this slightly darker version looks great.

In of sound, everything is very good, the low-frequency range obviously dominates, the sound is deep, a little cave-like, good separation of instruments, the mix is readable and clear. Perhaps technically there is not the highest DR, but this record absolutely cannot be called flat. The vinyl plays perfectly, mass defects are not heard. However, it is worth taking into that the vinyl is packed in a regular paper envelope without protection - in this regard, Relapse does not consistently change anything for its releases - so arm yourself with brushes before listening.
