My copy sounds great - I don't have any of the non-fill on B3 that the poster below describes - with one quite odd exception. I have what seem to be a couple of signal dropouts in the right channel during the bells-only intro at the very start of A1. I wouldn't have noticed it without using headphones but it's quite jarring and it definitely isn't an equipment issue because I can still hear the odd click of surface noise in the empty channel when it happens. I assumed it was deliberate but I've just checked a digital version and the signal is constant in both channels! Has anyone else noticed this? Am I going mad?

Edited 4 months agoThe Emperor's new clothes in the music world, what no-one wants to it, is that Kate became a mother and recluse and half lost her voice. The English so love her that they were prepared to overlook these facts; it is quite charming really. I'm happy to report that this double lp set is mostly pressed quieter than the really terrible pressings of "Aerial" and "50 Words for Snow". However, this is far from a good sounding lp as the recording and mastering is veiled with a flabby, boomy bottom end. This is awful given that her 80s albums sound so great.

Big Kate Bush fan here. I agree that the packaging is top rate and the booklet is visually stunning. Sadly my copy has a huge warp on record one which makes the first half of Side A and B unplayable. They are now selling for $100.00 CAD and I can't afford that.

Great packaging (the lined inner sleeves and full size booklet are great) and it sounds much better than the CD. A little bass heavy though.
